"Good ideas start with brainstorming, great ideas start with coffee."
I don't have coffee every day, but I do love the ritual of it. The warmth, the creaminess, the care that goes into preparing a good cup, and most importantly the space you enjoy it in.
At home on the weekends, my husband and I make coffee in our French press, froth cashew milk with our $7 Amazon.com frother (excellent purchase), and drink it on the couch with our feet propped up, savoring the languidness of the weekend.
As a consultant, I often work from coffee shops, one of my favorites in New York City being Max Caffe, a cozy, couch-filled space in Morningside Heights. There is something inherently inspiring about working in a coffee shop, with people around you either passionately working on a project of sorts, having close conversations, or letting time leisurely pass with a book or newspaper. Being surrounded by people engaging with and enjoying life in these different capacities fuels me.
